From trance to transparency
For this we have to sacrifice the parts of our identity in which we are dominated by our past. As long as we experience ourselves as victims of our personal story, whether personal, cultural or collective we can only repeat what is already there. The outer form might change, but the inner content stays the same. So we stay imprisoned by our own fantasies, hoping that one day everything will turn out for the best. But as long we don´t actively participate and choose our unfolding destiny we stay inhibited and small.
So Karam Kriya is also about exhausting this story, our karma, by recognising it as the ultimate kindness and challenging our future into the manifestation of now. When our personal story becomes more and more transparent, we can see through to who we really can become, moment by moment - breath by breath. From there we can make a difference.
What does Karam Kriya mean?
The Sanskrit word “karam” is close to the word “karma”, meaning action with no result other than repetition. “Karam” translates as kindness and points to the actual kindness of our Karma as a vessel to liberate us from our attachment to worldly bonds.
“Kriya” is an action which is in itself complete and therefore doesn’t create Karma and also an action which is transformative or a crying out of the soul.
